Richard (Rick) Anstey
For the past 26 years Rick has been building and managing his own companies in Australia. Maintaining his Technology background, Rick’s particular focus has been centred on ventures that underpin the Convergence of Technologies - Information Technology, Entertainment, Education, Mobility and Telecommunications. Rick is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management, and a member of the Australian Venture Capital Association.
Lionel Barden
Lionel Barden specialises in business diagnostics. His advisory services provide corporate planning facilitation for succession planning for company mergers, business startups, companies positioning for growth, and management of emerging industry projects.
Lionel has held senior management positions including management of international projects in Singapore, USA, Holland, Switzerland, Malaysia and China.
Dr Clarissa Wynne, PhD
Associate, Fisher Adams Kelly
Clarissa has eight years experience in the intellectual property industry, specialising in pharmaceutical chemistry and medical methods and devices, petrochemicals, nanotechnology and materials. Clarissa has a PhD in chemistry (steroid synthesis), with experience in the petrochemicals industry and in pharmaceutical research. Before moving into intellectual property, Clarissa worked for Mimetica at the Institute for Molecular Biosciences, UQ. Prior to that, she worked for Sasol Solvents in South Africa in product management and business analysis, and Sastech Research in petrochemical downstream product beneficiation.
Nicky Milsom
General Manager, Magnetica Limited
Nicky Milsom is General Manager of Magnetica Limited, a Queensland based high technology Company that is commercialising innovative products focused on human magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) markets. Nicky joined Magnetica in early 2005 as Deputy CEO, and was appointed General Manager in April 2009. She has previously held roles in State Government and the higher education sector.
She has start-up business planning, market and financial modelling skills and strategic and operational management expertise, combined with a demonstrated ability to develop & build relationships with different national & international organisations.
Steven Lutz
Principal, Lutz & Associates, Chartered Accountants
Steven is the Principal of Lutz & Associates Chartered Accountants, with offices in Brisbane and the Gold Coast & is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and the Tax Institute. Previously a principal of one of the big 4 accounting firms Steven worked in both Australia and internationally: UK; PNG and Fiji, and formed his own firm 15 years ago. Steve assists both corporate and SME clients providing: business, managerial and taxation advice together with supporting compliance services.
Steven has been involved for over a decade, advising or judging in the “John Heine Entrepreneurial Challenge”, (formerly “the Moot Corp competition”).
